The outdoor swimming pool was fine, with very nice views of the vineyards and the douro river. The staff was super attentive.

the room was extremely spacious and with terrace and it's own balcony at your disposal, good view over douro valley. the setting was amazing, close enough to a drive and the river front and nice trails.

A good choice of food at the continental breakfast. Location close enough to a hill which affords guests amazing views of the valley below, centre of pinhao and taxis, a trip down the river, and visits to various wineries. The very friendly stuff working throughout the hotel.

Room with a fine river view adds to the charm. The small pool area presents a great spot for relaxation.

Limited hot water throughout the stay kept things a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast options were lacking, and the room cleanliness was questionable with unwashed glasses. A broken toilet flush and no full-length wardrobe space added to the woes.

A good stay with a view

The LBV House Hotel offered fine views from our room and a charming pool area where we enjoyed relaxing afternoons. The staff were consistently friendly, always happy to lend a helping hand.

Reaching the hotel was quite a trek from town. The steep hill may pose difficulties for some. The breakfast selection was limited and could use some enhancement.

I nearly wrote a fabulous review, but the jacuzzi was out of commission, and no fridge as promised was just unacceptable. I was also disappointed that the breakfast was rather indifferent-I mean, how hard is it to serve warm eggs? This hotel could have been great with a few simple adjustments. Absoluteley pathetic!

The terrace view is a total game-changer, loved lounging by the pool after exploring vineyards nearby.

Our stay was delightful thanks to the lovely room with a spacious balcony overlooking stunning views of the Douro river, and the breakfast selection was fantastic. Relaxing by the pool and enjoying the sunshine was a perfect way to unwind after our daily outings. Just a heads-up, there were a couple of days when the hot water ran low, but it didn’t take away from our overall experience! 😊
